Andrey started his career in tyre business more than 13 years ago when he retired from Russian Cosmonaut Air Forces and joined Ros-Shina, one of the biggest Russian tyre producers, to become its CEO in 1998

After the 1998 financial crisis Andrey was invited by Amtel Tire Holding for a position of deputy general manager to consolidate various tyre producers in Russia and the former Soviet Union under the brand Amtel and to streamline its operations. All those challenging tasks were executed successfully which has allowed Amtel to become the second largest Russian tyre producer and eventually conduct an IPO on LSE in 2005

In 2001-2003 Andrey was a deputy general manager of Bricom, the leading importer of steel cord from major western companies and the main supplier to Russian tyre industry

In 2003 Andrey Brodovich becomes the head of Sibur’s Tyre Division, the largest East European tyre producer, a part of Gazprom’s “empire”. With 25,000 employees under management and production facilities scattered through the entire Russia, Andrey has achieved unprecedented enterprise value growth of 28 times within 4 years of tenure

Currently being one of the Asiatech’s principals Andrey continues to advise Sibur’s board on strategic issues and to exercise influence on the whole Russian tyre industry

Andrey holds a PhD in technical sciences from one of the most prominent Russian technical educational and scientific bodies, Engineering Institute in St. Petersburg. Prior to his doctoral study and professorship he studied engineering and technical sciences there and graduated with distinction in 1982
