History

  • Asiatech was formed in 1997 by Mr. Stephen John (Jack) St George
  • Jack was a senior manufacturing manager with South Pacific Tyres, the largest tyre manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere, with sales of US $1.4 bn annually. South Pacific Tyres made virtually all kinds of tyres, and produced approximately 35,000 tyres per day
  • In 1998, seven of Asiatech’s employees commenced the first contract in China, starting up a Radial Truck tyre factory in China, and training the first group of executives to run that factory. Within three years, the factory was producing sales of US$86 million, with profits of about US$18 million.
  • In 2007 the GuiZhou Tyre was ranked 33d of the world top tyre producers with sales of US $440 m and production volume of 3.9 million tyres per year
  • Following this project, Asiatech completed/pursues projects in: China, Singapore, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, India, Russia, Thailand, Ukraine, India, Iran and Bahrain
  • In 2004 one more senior partner: Mr. Andrey Brodovich
  • Depending on the project needs Asiatech employs 10-20 high-ranked engineers and senior managers from Australia, China, Russia, and other countries
